Crestwood Consulting Project

During my winter break from business school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on an engaging consulting project with Crestwood, where my primary focus was on improving their check-in process. One of the standout initiatives I developed was the creation of informative welcome videos were placed in hotel rooms, aimed at guiding guests through various aspects of their stay enhancing their overall experience. This innovative approach not only provided information but also led to a significant reduction in the number of maintenance and front desk staff to handle guest inquiries, thereby streamlining operations.

In addition to the welcome videos, I also took proactive steps to implement changes to the hotel’s transportation service. These adjustments resulted in noticeably quicker pickup times and shorter wait for guests, which greatly improved their satisfaction. Collectively, these strategic enhancements not only elevated the guest experience but also to substantial operational efficiencies, ultimately leading to impressive annual savings of $355,000 in labor costs for the hotel.

World Cup Budweiser Project

Working alongside a team of four other MBA students, we undertook the task of developing comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aimed supporting Budweiser's sponsorship for the highly anticipated World Cup in Qatar in 2022. My specific role involved crafting contingency plans that addressed the possibility of the Qatari government retracting the initial agreements related to alcohol sales, a scenario we foresaw could occur. This foresight proved invaluable when, just two days prior to the event, the Qatari government implemented a ban on the sale of alcohol. Thankfully, our strategic planning included alternative methods to enhance brand recognition in light of such changes. One of these initiatives involved providing canned water featuring Budweiser logos, which not only aligned with our contingency plans but also helped maintain visibility for the brand in an unexpected situation.

My team collaborated with a food manufacturing company to support their endeavor to enter the U.S. market effectively. Our team conducted thorough research to understand the current regulations and product requirements that they needed to comply with. Additionally, we assisted in establishing partnerships with other companies to ensure a smoother and more efficient transition into the market. To further enhance their brand presence, we developed a variety of marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness before their official market entry.

Small Business Consultancy Projects

I took the initiative to found and develop my own business with the primary goal of assisting local small enterprises in significantly improving their online presence and advertising efforts. the utilization of the Wix platform, I meticulously crafted custom websites tailored to each business's unique needs. Additionally, I organized and executed comprehensive marketing campaigns aimed at attracting and engaging local consumers to drive foot traffic and online interactions.

Throughout my, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of companies operating in various industries, including photography, dental offices, and small restaurants. In order enhance their marketing effectiveness, I leveraged advanced tools such as Meta advertisements and Google Ads. Furthermore, incorporated cutting-edge AI technology to automate key processes and improve their overall online visibility, ensuring they remained competitive in the digital landscape.

Ebay Surplus Project

I formed a successful partnership with a close friend, where our primary goal was to strategically buy large amounts of retail surplus goods from various sources. Once we obtained these items, we dedicated ourselves to relisting and selling them through the popular online marketplace eBay. This venture proved to be quite fruitful, as we were able to achieve remarkable total annual sales that surpassed the impressive figure of $300,000. A considerable portion of our diverse inventory was sourced from renowned department stores, including Nordstrom, Macy's, and Bloomingdale's, which allowed us to offer our customers a wide range of quality products to choose from.

I successfully established a company that specializes in the creation of home goods and apparel, taking full advantage of online design platforms like Canva. Through my efforts, I developed and managed thriving stores popular e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Etsy, and eBay utilizing a drop shipping model that allowed me to efficiently handle the distribution of my. By proactively engaging with suppliers, I was able to ensure that my goods were manufactured only after I secured orders from customers, which streamlined the entire production and fulfillment process and enhanced efficiency.

Worked as a consultant for a real estate stager and  photographer company with 20+ employees based in Cancun, Mexico. I built there website and developed their marketing strategy. These changes led to a 70% revenue increase compared to the previous year. KH Photography has continued to grow and has increased its client retention rate significantly. I still work as an advisor for KH as they expand to new markets in Mexico and abroad.

Restructuring or Recruitment at Miller School of Medicine

I took the initiative to implement a comprehensive new strategy within the pulmonary division at the Miami Miller School of Medicine focused on enhancing physician recruitment efforts. As part of this endeavor, we transformed our approach to meetings and developed a detailed presentation that effectively showcased the numerous benefits of becoming a member of the University of Miami family. This important initiative began early in my tenure and, by the time it was completed, we successfully expanded our team from 12 physicians to over 75, which was a remarkable growth. Additionally, we saw an impressive increase in our research output as a direct result of efforts. As a result of these accomplishments, we were able attract significantly more funding for the University of Miami, which in turn enhanced our overall reputation in the academic and medical community. This positive visibility led to increased support from various organizations, including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), pharmaceutical companies, and nonprofit organizations, thereby further solidifying our standing in the field.
